I aim to support innovative good in the place I live. I believes that artists, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs contribute to smarter, more vibrant communities, and offer my services to allow thinkers to think bigger.
I provided administrative and development support for over three years to Fresh Energy, a renewable energy policy and advocacy nonprofit in St. Paul. Before that, I worked with the City of Rogers and the community at large toward a healthy local food system. I helped the city build its first community gardens and bring its new farmers market to the next level. While earning my B.S. Degree in urban studies at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, I worked with professors to grow the Sustainability Studies minor. I have also been offering my skills and enthusiasm to Works Progress for over a decade, supporting their network of creative collaborators. Throughout it all, I've also worked customer service positions at the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board, several pizza joints, and coffee shops!
I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where I attended public art schools for seven years. For fun, I love to read novels and entertain myself (and guests) with tasty dinners and chocolate chip cookies. I continue to be impressed with and truly appreciate the larger themes in life as delivered through the more delicate details.
